Proposal To Use New Zealand Registration For Australian Companion Animal Veterinary Chemicals

APVMA are seeking feedback from industry regarding the introduction of a new process that will enable registration of veterinary chemicals in Australia by recognizing the assessments and decisions made in New Zealand for non-food producing animals.

APVMA will still be required to assess applications against Australian statutory criteria, however, the NZ assessment may be useful as a ‘reference’ in the decision-making when registering veterinary chemicals for non-food producing animals.

You can submit your feedback from 19 September to 4 November 2016.

For further information visit the APVMA website.
